  ENRIQUE RODRIGUEZ   March 8, 1901 - September 4, 1971

group Ciriaco Ortiz, Anselmo Aieta, Enrique Rodriguez, Edgarto Donato (1938)

Bandoneónist Rodriguez doesn't seem to have ever really big as an orchestra leader during his time, but his recordings have aged well and he gathers more fans among dancers all the time.

The Rodriguez sound is solid and steady; always in a moderate tempo.

Two of his best-known compositions, Llorar por una mujer and Son cosas del bandoneón were covered by other bands and became standards.

I put on Rodriguez recordings for Spanish people and Argentinos on the dance floor. They want tend to hear him.

There are 25 tracks on the ToTANGO CD of Enrique Rodriguez Restorations.
