Norberto grew up in the milongas. Both his father and grandfather played bandoneón, which perhaps gave him something of the extra talent he has for complicated expression.
His singularly unique style is born of years of research and searching. The basis of his fluid style is sensuous intertwining dialogue of the legs. He and Luiza are so beautiful to watch. And in his classes, he shows how to LEAD his vision of the dance and improvisation.
Norberto studied with Rodolfo Dinzel, then spent 7 years teaching and developing his style in Brazil before returning to Buenos Aires and emerging as a stunning new influence in tango.
Luiza, from Brazil, has been his partner since 1999.
